Our goal is to create wines that express the true varietal character of the grape. You can't make a good wine from bad grapes. The makings of a fine wine are found in the vineyard. The Dulzura Vineyard and Winery is blessed with the right combination of soil, water, and climate conditions allowing us to make full-bodied reds and delicate, aromatic whites with minimal intervention.
The Dulzura Vineyard and Winery is located on the pioneer-era Clark Ranch,
established in 1885. Today the ranch is still family owned. The buildings are among the very few surviving structures from that era. Come visit and share a glass of fine wine while enjoying the historical ambience and beauty of the Clark Ranch.
After last year's rains we had hoped that the drought may be have been curtailed.
Recent storms have helped bring this
year's total up to 11.4"....less than half of last year's total. Our '17 harvest was
not only large, but brought high quality
fruit. With judicious water management, we expect lower yields, but great quality
fruit as well in 2018.
The Dulzura Vineyard and Winery
tasting room is open weekends
year-round. Hours are from 11AM to
6PM on Saturdays and Sundays.
Current offerings are our 2013 & '14 red and white wine vintages along with a pair of new Rose wines. Come try them!
Our Estate Vineyard produces eight
select grape varietals. . Our vines are located on a gently sloped hillside above the winery. The vines recieve ample sun and a gentle breeze on most days. Our proximity to the ocean provides a nightly cooling off which allows the vineyard to produce fruit of exceptional quality.

Franc, '14 Cabernet Sauvignon, and
the '14 Zinfandel. We've alsp just
released our 2017 Vin Gris made from

WINE GIFT BOXES AVAILABLE!
We're pleased to offer these special presentation boxes for those wishing a unique way to gift our wines. These boxes are available in sizes to accommodate one, two, or three bottles of wine. We are making them available at our tasting room with any wine purchase. An interesting note about them is that they are crafted by the Phillips Brothers Mill in northern California. This is the last operational steam powered sawmill in the US, and is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. For a wonderful look back in time at how these boxes are made, please visit with the link below and have a look at their incredible videos!
